Can Sharepoint do a client portal with a user outside MS 365?

You can create a Power Pages dashboard where they can see the status of their case or even a public facing PowerBI report if they login with their associated account. But SharePoint won't work as a dashboard as it's not designed for that, it's designed as collaboration tool

Thanks Nicolas for your reply. The key phrase in your response for me is if they login with their associated account.". Again, these are consumer/clients who I have no expectation use microsoft 365.

standenman In Power Pages (formerly known as "Power Apps Portals"), you can use different identity providers for authentication.

It doesn't have to be a Microsoft 365 account, it can be a random Gmail. You still need to authenticate in some way so they don't see someone elses information.
