Can Sharepoint do a client portal with a user outside MS 365?
standenman You can add external/guest users in your tenant to provide access on SharePoint content. They might need a personal Microsoft account when you try to share the SharePoint site with them.

You can create a Power Pages dashboard where they can see the status of their case or even a public facing PowerBI report if they login with their associated account. But SharePoint won't work as a dashboard as it's not designed for that, it's designed as collaboration tool

standenman In Power Pages (formerly known as "Power Apps Portals"), you can use different identity providers for authentication.

standenman You can still share site pages (files) with external users. But if you are looking for completely public facing website, SharePoint online will not work for you.
