UPDATE PROJECT DIALOGUE BOX
I run a portfolio of 60 small and large projects and submit a weekly status report to my sponsor. Recently, we started updating projects: Set 0%- 100% complete. Unfortunately, we don't see the "Late...

Short answer, no. By using auto update you are telling Project to assume everything is up to date with respect to the current date, or status date if different from the current date.
Is there a way to still see late or slipping tasks? Yes, don't use auto update, as those two features are mutually exclusive.

I forgot to ask you. Can you disable the auto update feature, or you simply not use the application for future use? Make sense? Thanks. Again.- John-projectApr 18, 2024Silver Contributor
Molalenge,
No....that doesn't quite make sense. What you refer to as the "auto update feature" is not auto at all. It must be initiated by the user if appropriate for their scenario, so if it is not appropriate, don't use it.If you are asking for some type of "lock out" for this feature I suggest you submit a request through the Project feedback portal.
