Unable to save Tasks to SharePoint Task list when editing using "Open with Project"

Hello Community Members,

I need a help in resolving the below issue.

I am creating the task list using the  custom template in SharePoint. Once the Task list is created i am open the task list using "Open with Project".

I see Project is opening and I see it shows my task list URL on the "Info"Tab but unfortunately when i save it does not save. It gives the error

Sorry we could not sync the tasks to the SharePoint  site. Please make sure

 - SharePoint site is running and not in read only mode

 -You have sufficient permission to Sync to SharePoint Site

 -Task list is still available and its name hasn't changed

I have checked i have all the necessary permission's.

Note: I don't have the above issue if i create the task list using site contents
