"Tasks by Planner" and "Microsoft Project for the Web"
Thank you for your time, 1) I can use a Webpart on SharePoint to display information from "Tasks by Planner", but I cannot do the same for "Planner". Is "Tasks by Planner" the new Planner? 2)...

Leonel GUZMAN The integration of Planner and Project for the Web (default environment only) can be rather confusing. Here is a lengthy post that may help The new Microsoft Planner: A unified experience bringing together to-dos, tasks, plans and projects - Page 8 - Microsoft Community Hub
Hopefully this will help alleviate some of the confusion.- Currently the Tasks by Planner and To Do app, creates a Planner project without the Timeline functionality.
- Currently the Project app creates a Project for the Web project in the default environment, or you can link it to a project in a named environment.
- Currently in the Planner app, you can convert a copy of a Planner to a Project for the Web project in the default environment.
- At this time I do not believe it's possible to embed a Project for the Web project in a SharePoint site.
