Saving issues - Microsoft Project Ver. 2208

Hi everyone - 

 

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues saving .mpp files on to a file server.  Running into issues with users having to wait 20 minutes to save and "An unexpected network error occurred" when trying to save as to a different location.

    I haven't noticed any issues saving .mpp files under version 2208. One quick thing to check is your build. The latest build (Sept 13 - current channel) is 15601.20148. If users don't have that update, get it installed.

    You don't mention which version of Project you are using or if you are working with a single file or a linked structure (e.g. master/subprojects or resource pool/sharer).

    It sounds like a network issue that needs to be resolved by your IT department.
