Well, open the Resource Sheet and start listing the resources required. You can define them as work type (labor and machine), material (expendables), and cost (travel, capital investment). Subcontractors may be fixed cost or time based and there are various ways to handle that depending on many variables.
This is the same process whether it's a high rise building, painting a house, developing software, or any other plan.
