Resource rate is not available in Project for the Web

Hello All,

 

I am exploring Project for the Web and find it quite useful to manage small projects with lesser complexity. Here the Project management is considering only work. Cost is not getting calculated anywhere. Even I didn't find a way to assign a rate to a resource.

 

Can anyone help me out how can we assign rate to a resource and calculate project planned and actual cost?

    In the current build of Project for the Web, there is no costing model available in the software. This means that there is no way to assign cost rates to resources or to have the software to calculate task costs and project costs. Perhaps Microsoft will add this functionality some day, but it is not currently available. Hope this helps.
