PWA Project Access

Does anyone know of any reason why certain projects within our online PWA portal for our site can't be accessed by certain individuals within the organisation when they could previously? As far as i'...

Hello iang4ash ,

Please can you provide more details, is this accessing the project plan from project desktop or PWA? Is it the project site for a project plan? What role do these users have in PWA? How are these users related to the projects in question? What permission mode is your PWA instance using, SharePoint or Project mode?

    Hi Paul,

     

    Thanks for replying. This issue applies to when accessing from either PWA or the  desktop client (via PWA) .  They are TEAM members with essentials licence and one has Project plan 3 so has Project Manager role. In terms of permission mode I've checked and we are Project Mode.

     

    Not sure if the above answers your questions but I have double checked permissions etc and all seems correct. Any help appreciated.

      Problem now solved!

       

      It turned out to be something really simple in the end 🙂

      The subproject selection box in the Project ribbon within the PWA screen wasn't selected and certain projects were featured on at least one Master Project.

      Hope this might serve as some use to someone?
