Project Server - Print Project Center Gantt Chart?

In on-premises Project Server, how do you print or export a view of the Gantt chart for all projects in Project Center? There is a way to print the Gantt chart view for each individual project, but we are looking for a way to print or export the Gantt Chart view which shows the summary bar for each project in Project Server (as shown in the Project Center). Is this possible with Project Server, and if so, how do we accomplish this?

  • I have bad news for you, my friend.  The Print functionality for the Project Center page will only print the data grid on the left side of the page, and will NOT print the Gantt Chart screen on the right side of the page.  For a situation like yours, this is why I recommend using Power BI reports.  For example, you could create a Power BI report that looks like the Project Center page, which could then be printed as needed.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for the quick response. I was afraid this would be the case but thought I'd ask. Since you brought up Power BI.... can you refer me to any resources (other than Microsoft Learn) that describes how to do this? There is a lot of basic, foundational info out there about Power BI but I'm looking for something specifically on how to create, update and distribute a Power BI report that displays a Gantt chart view for a filtered group of projects (i.e., only those less than 100% complete and only certain Project Owner Names, etc.). A brief You Tube tutorial on this and similar reports from a Project MVP would be super helpful!
