Project Remaining Duration as of Status Date

First off all, im sorry for reply from your post, because I am new here and I dont know how to post on Microsoft Community Hub.
I also have the same issue, the task Start Date is 20 Nov 2025 and Finish Date is 7 Dec 2025. The status date is 28 Nov 2025 and %Complete is 10%, but when I input 10% in %complete column the Finish Date should be delayed. I would like to know how to solve this problem, because I want to monitor every task and know what should I do to catch up the project, should it be increase the manpower or works.
