Project Layout Configuration makes Baseline disppearing
Interesting. I've never noticed that before but I'd say it's a bug, although it has apparently been around since the current GUI was introduced in Project 2010. It does work "correctly" with older versions of Project (e.g. Project 2003 under Windows XP).
I'll consult with one of my colleagues to make sure I'm not missing something.

Thank you John-project
I've tried several possibilities and failed. As a separate discussion, it's really cool to see that it's possible to talk about such specific topics with someone in the world... I can't stop being surprised by this.
About the problem itself, if anyone has any suggestions I'll be happy to use!

You're welcome and thanks for the feedback.
To be honest I never use any of the options in the Layout group and your highlighting the issue about baseline gantt bars disappearing is the first I've heard about it. I think it's one of those options that very few users find useful. You can report it via the Feedback channel in Project, left side of splash screen.
This forum, and other like it, are specifically structured to allow seasoned users of Project to lend their expertise to helping other users. We are all volunteers and do not work for Microsoft and we greatly appreciate user feedback.

Definitely a bug and not how the software should work.- carlosmoroJul 12, 2023Copper ContributorYes Dale !!
That's what I assume too. But in this case, how can we deal with it?

There is no workaround for this bug, as far as I can tell. The best I can offer you is that you should not deselect the "Round bars to whole days" checkbox in the Layout form. Sorry, but hope this helps.
