Project for web in MS Teams

Hi I am wanting to add a project plan to Microsoft teams. I have created a project plan in project for the web (website), however when i try and add it to the project tab in a Microsoft Teams (team),...

    Hello paulk2224 ,

    If I've understood the issue correctly, that is how it works. From the Project Teams app, you can create a new Project if there are no projects associated with the current Team or if the current Team does have a project associated you can pick that project. 

    A Project in the Project for the web (website) that is not part of a Team / M365 Group, can't be added to a Team via the Project Teams app, it has to be done via the Project for the web web app. If a project is part of a Team / M365 group already, it can't be added to a different Team via the Project Teams app.
