Project for the Web (P4W) Baselines or Due Dates
Hey All, Are baselines or due dates planned for P4W? Do we know when they will be added? Is there a workaround in the meantime? Related question: where does the data for the custom columns ...

Hello,
I just met the same requirement that we need to support Baseline feature with Project For Web.
Is there any interim workaround to support this?
Thank you!

I regret to tell you that four years after Project for the Web was released, we still do not have the ability to save a Baseline for our projects. Without a Baseline, we cannot track and analyze variance. I would surmise that this feature will be released eventually, but I have no idea when that will happen, or what form it will take. And to the best of my knowledge, there is no workaround available. If you truly need the Baseline feature right now, you might want to switch back (or migrate to) the Microsoft Project desktop application instead. Otherwise, we need to be patient and wait for the Baseline functionality to be released. Hope this helps.- Jefferson_XuOct 16, 2023Copper Contributor
Thank you Dale for your feedback. Originally my thought was to copy project to name it as baseline then import to Power BI program dashboard to see if we can display the project and baseline(copy project) together to make comparison.

Dale_HowardMVP adding the custom columns to the Project Task table as mentioned above has been helpful. We built a flow that will copy the finish date to a baseline finish date through a powerapp.

Would you please share how to build a flow through a powerapp? I used Microsoft Project Dashboard Power BI to fetch the data but i did't find the custom fields as i tried.
Thank you!
