Project Displaying Fractional Duration Values Instead of Whole Days
Is there a way in Microsoft Project to change the duration, actual duration, and remaining duration field values so that they display as Whole Numbers and not include decimals? For example, instead ...

First to answer your question, no, there is no way other than your custom field to round duration values.
Why is percent complete rounded but duration is not? Simple, percent complete is a calculated value and very subjective whereas duration is internally stored by Project to the nearest 30 seconds regardless of what unit value is selected to display in the Duration field. So the 4.33 days represents a accurate time value (i.e. objective), although it is limited to 2 decimal places so in actuality it also is rounded.
