Problems with export Microsoft Project Visual Reports to Excel
Hello,
I need to export a visual report from MS Project 2013 to a pivot table in Excel. When I attempt the export, MS Project displays a message stating that I need Excel 2003 or a newer version. I have a newer version, but I am unable to complete the export. What should I do?

mmacedo,
Sorry but the link I posted in my response to Paul Ross's question is apparently no longer available. I even tried finding it on the Wayback Machine but it isn't there either. The best I can recall is that you can trick the system by installing one app first and then the other but I don't remember if it's Office first and then Project or the other way around. This link may offer some help:
Sorry I can't be of more help. Perhaps one of my colleagues has a better memory and will jump in.
As an aside, the Visual Reports functionality of Project has been troublesome since it was first introduced. Personally I use VBA for communicating between Project and Excel.

Marcus,
I'd say you solved your own problem. You can try Microsoft support but since Project 2013 is no longer supported, I think their response will be to upgrade.
