We have Project Online and we're using it long time now. It's an outdated product based on sharepoint classic and will be replaced with Project for the Web. Why should I consider to invest time and money to build a solution with it, when its oficially discontinued?

Interesting, we have multiple DoD and government agencies that have just upgraded from Project Server 2010/16 to Project Online/O365 with rave reviews. And all of the new customers in 2022 that have moved from other apps to Project Online/O365 love it. Sorry to hear it's not working for your situation. I'm sure your MS Partner can help you navigate these challenges you're having. Sorry I wasn't able to help.
