I am using on line project version, but the function shown are really few.
I need, for example, to compact the time line, with the aim to show all the project in a single A4 page

From the description of your problem, it sounds like you are using Project for the Web (Project Plan 1 license in M365). What you actually need is the Microsoft Project desktop application, formally known as Project Online Professional (Project Plan 3 license in M365). Hope this helps.
