NOTIFICATIONS - TASKS
If I have tasks assifned to me across multiple projects/boards, is there a way I can access a via central place to view these rather than having to access each project separately?

It sounds like you are using Project for the Web. If that is the case, then the answer is currently "No" to your question. But according to Microsoft, this functionality will become available in the future when Project for the Web is merged with Planner. Hope this helps.
