If you specified a Department value for the EPT, then only people with that value specified in their Resource Departments field will be able to see the EPT. Does that help? Let us know.

Hello, I have created Enterprise Project Types and created Project templates that have been uploaded as "templates" however in the drop-down menu, "None" is showing up (as per the image). Could you please advise whether I have missing something in terms of the setup? Thank you.

By the way, after posting my previous reply, I realized I assumed you are seeing only the None option on the Project Plan Template pick list. Is that correct? Let us know.

Hi Dale, thanks so much for your reply. I did try the steps a number of times and was seeing the "None" option come up when selecting a template for an ET. However, for some reason, after a software update today, I tried it again and it worked. Thanks again.

To save your projects as "templates" did you complete the following steps:
- Launch Microsoft Project desktop and connect to Project Online.
- Open the file you want to save as an enterprise template.
- Click File > Save As.
- In the Project Web App section of the page, click the large Save button.
- In the Save to Project Web App dialog, enter a name for the project.
- In this dialog, click the Type pick list and select the Template item.
- Click the Save button.
- In the Save as Template dialog, select all of the checkbox options and then click the Save button.
- Click the File tab and then click the Close button.
- In the Backstage, click the New tab and then click the Enterprise tab near the top of the page.
In the Enterprise section of the New page, you should see the new enterprise template which you just saved. These are the steps required to save a project as an enterprise template. There is no other method for doing this. So, did you complete the preceding steps? Let us know and we will try to help you.
