MS Project Online - Project Level Custom Field Number Format

Hi,

I have created a custom field with number data type which is an identifier to Project Id that will be used later to link external projects coming from different PMO tool.

I can’t find a way to format this custom field to eliminate commas in Project Server online.

I have called this number field into another field with formula = Format([custom field], “##”)

The above returns blank when I add to Project Summary view on MS Project center.

Anyone has any recommendations or suggestions?

    Hello ArcherJayden ,

    The number format with commas etc. is not configurable. I think from memory the format will come from the regional settings of the site collection.

    Regarding your formula field being empty, you'll need to open the project/s, recalculate and publish each project for the formula field to calculate and have a value.
