Microsoft Project Total Work Hours per Task
I have assigned a column as “Crew size” and have the working hours set to 8, however the “Work” column is only reporting based on their being one worker per day. How do I adjust that formula to have it also multiply by my created “Crew Size” column?

Why do you need a separate field for "crew size"? I assume by "crew" you mean the number of individual labor workers for a given task. In Project this can be easily set up by making a group resource. On the Resource Sheet enter the name of the crew (e.g. welders). Now let's say you have 3 welders in the welding crew. Set the Max Units to 300%. Assuming full time employees, you can then assign the welding crew at 100%, 200% or 300% (8, 16, or 24 hours) to any non-concurrent task and that total work will appear in the Work field.
