Microsoft Project Professional 2019 - Agile functionality

Question

Need guidance as I'd like to have the ability to do sprint plans in project.

I did some research and found that to work with Agile, I must have the right release(s) as agile features work only with MS Project Online Desktop Client. Not sure what version or type of Project do I need in order to have this functionality available. Shall I need Microsoft Project Professional 2019 or an online subscription instead?

The Agile / Task boards capability is only in the Project Online Desktop Client, see the link below for details:
