Integration of Microsoft Project desktop with Azure Boards

Hey all

I am looking for "For Dummies" steps regarding integrating my desktop MS Project instance with Azure Boards.

I've tried to follow these instructions https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/boards/backlogs/office/create-your-backlog-tasks-using-project?view=tfs-2018&tabs=office-365 but there is a gap in them.

It advises to install VS2019 as it automatically installs relevant integration tools, but when i start the process  there is dozens and dozens of individual components to choose from.

Is there a simple, straight forwards way to install whatever the office integration tool is to enable my MS Project to connect to my azure board?

Aeseir: did you get any progress on this? I am actually trying to do the same and I was wondering if you were successful.

I too am attempting to get the integration setup for Project Pro Desktop and Azure DevOps Server 2020.

One of my coworkers has the integration setup and this is the description of the add-in.

Work great for Excel : - )  but no luck so far getting MS Project setup.
