Unfortunately this is a limitation in Project for the web, task level custom fields you add to a project are only local to that project and the fields are not available for reporting etc.

From my testing, custom tasks fields created in the Power App are not available in P4W and the custom fields in P4W are not available in the Power App. I've heard of others using a flow to move the data in a custom P4W task field to a custom Power App field, but this is not an ideal solution. I'm sincerely hoping that there is a better solution.
