Delete projects

The "Delete project" permission for members of the Project Managers group refers to deleting enterprise projects using the Open dialog in the Microsoft Project Professional desktop application. With this permission set to Allowed, PMs can display the Open dialog, double-click the Show me the list of all projects line, and then right-click on any of their projects and select the Delete item on the shortcut menu.
Because there is a built-in danger of PMs accidentally deleting their own projects, I have recommended for many years that this permission should be set to either Not Allowed or Denied. If the permission is set to Denied, this WILL NOT prevent app admins from deleting enterprise projects from the PWA user interface. Hope this helps.
