Custom Task Level Field Using Formula not Available in Timesheet View

I want to show a project-level field in PWA timesheets so I created a custom task-level field that uses a formula to point to the project level field.  This formula works as I can see the field correctly filled out in the project plan when i add the column to the Task Usage View.

My issue is that the field is not in the Available fields to show when I try to edit the My Timesheet or My Work views.  I did ensure that the tasks setting for "Calculation for Assignment Rows" was set to "Roll down, unless manually specified".
