Open the custom field for editing in PWA. In the Calculation for Assignment Rows section, select the Roll down, unless manually specified option. Click the Save button. Your PMs may need to open and publish their projects for the change to take effect. Hope this helps.

I have tried this proposal but it still does not work.
- RodFrommJun 02, 2023Steel ContributorI've experienced this same issue. The column will appear in a user's timesheet, but not the assigned value. If you do this, ensure you check the 'Make read only' option for the added column(s), otherwise it will allow users to set a value in their timesheet. Once I assigned a value, I couldn't remove it from my timesheet view, your results may vary.
If a value is assigned it is only displayed in the timesheet view and does not apply the value to the task in the project. Just an FYI, on the task I tested this on I am the Project Owner and I have administrator privileges (I actually created/designed the site).
