This feature does not work with the Microsoft Project desktop application unless it is connected to either a Project Online or Project Server instance. Does that describe your situation? Let us know.

The URL you mentioned indicates you are using Project for the Web and NOT Project Online. So, this means you are not going to be able to use the Link Task to Planner Plan feature in Microsoft Project. Hope this helps.Hi Dale,
I am using Project online in MS Project MSO but still I see the above error. Is this because of any missing permission or any other issue?
