As I noted in the Stack Overflow "forum" I have a macro that will create a "flat" file from a linked master while preserving all the inter-project links. If you want more information contact me at the address listed below.
As far as using your existing macros to do the same thing, I have no idea so that is indeed something for you to ponder.

No message yet (1 hour after your posting). Hopefully you also got the dotdot redundancy. Over the years I've only had a couple of people not figure it out. I use the encoding of course to prevent spam bots and thus far it's worked great.
