Calendar default time
Hi Community I have got a little issue with my schedule in MS project, I have assigned a different calendar to some tasks where some of this calendars are 24h and 12h (for day shifts and Night s...

It's a little hard to follow exactly what your issue is but let me provide this information.
When you say you set a duration of 0.5d, that is 4h regardless of what task calendar may be applied. Duration is determined by the option setting for "Hours per day" and there is only one value. You can change the setting from the default 8h per day to any value you like, but that value will apply to all tasks and calendars. That's one reason why you should enter duration values in hours if you have multiple calendars associated with your plan.
Start time for a calendar is not set up in the options. It is set up when you define the work hours for each day for each calendar. The start and end time in Project options is only meaningful if you have a single calendar, then those times can by synced with calendar work hours.
Hope this helps.

you did answer my question, I need to work with hours instead of days. Really helpful, my other solution was to use to different documents, one for each schedule.- John-projectAug 30, 2023Silver ContributorSeb182,
