Assign tasks to none directory names/responses
Is there any way using project for the web to assign tasks to words.

The feature you are describing is in the Microsoft Project desktop application, but it is NOT in the Project for the Web application. Sorry, but hope this helps.

No, it is not possible to assign tasks to words (what I would describe as Generic resources). You can only assign tasks to human resources that are part of the team you build for the project. Hope this helps.

Dale_HowardMVP Hey dale, there used to be an option to "just assign" to someone and would accept pretty much any name to my recollection, is this not a capability anymore?
