Alternative to ODATA using MS Project SE (Subscription Edition)

As you have found, the OData Reporting service has been removed from the Project Server subscription edition - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/project/deprecated-removed-features-project-server-subscription-edition#features-removed-in-project-server-subscription-edition
As per the link above, to create reports, use T-SQL queries against the pjrep schema in the database.
