Actual hours are displayed on wrong date in Project Online Approval Screen
MarcelV275 There are multiple things that can cause this, one of the main things is the Project manager statusing time reporting tasks, which may not align to the actuals hours reported in the users timesheet. Microsoft's solution is you must enable the Only allow task updates via Tasks and Timesheets under Task Settings and Display, Protect User Updates. In my opinion this isn't a viable solution as it limits how a PM manages time reporting tasks. We pull all of the data into Power Bi reports and do all our cost calculations, we have some custom calc MSP can't perform, using timesheet data as you can't trust the Actuals in the plans.
RodFromm Thank you for your reply. The setting only allow task updates via Tasks and Timesheets under Task Settings and Display, has been on the entire time, so I think something else is causing this. The total actual amount on the task is correct and also the information in Power BI is correct, only the actual hours in the Acceptance Center are displayed on the wrong day.
