Something I learned while building Power Apps
- Sep 25, 2026
Great points, Mohamed. I completely agree, especially around delegation and keeping formulas simple.
One lesson I’ve learned is to think about scalability and maintainability from the beginning, not after the app has already grown. Something that works well with a small dataset and a few users can become difficult to maintain as the data, users, flows, and business rules increase.
I’d also add that using solutions, environment variables, connection references, and reusable components early makes ALM and deployment between environments much easier later.
Thanks for sharing — these are definitely good practices for anyone building production Power Apps.
