Hi EF711,
You may try recreating the flow from scratch using a blank template instead of using an existing template. Another suggestion is to check if the "Title" field in the changed item is left blank. Review the items in the list and ensure that the "Title" field is properly filled, even if it has a different label. You can edit the column settings in the list settings and enforce the field to be filled by setting it as a required field. This can be done by navigating to the list settings and modifying the settings for the "Title" field accordingly.

thanks again for your suggestion.
Im currently using a flow that i created on my own and not a template. Also the title is filled for all files i created in this directory.

In the update file properties action, for any fields that are not-mandatory, if you are not updating the metadata then just leave the field blank. That will leave the metadata the same as it was before. It's the same with the update items actions when you're working with lists. I suspect that original answer wasn't the work pf Leon but was from ChatGPT which, as so often, missed out a vital part. I think it only should have only a marginal place in our community for a long time to come.

Actually im wondering why some of the columns, that i edited as mandatory, are not shown as mandatory in power automate. All the columns you see in the library i want to be filled by power automate.
If its not bothering your or someone else to much can you please give me an example of a workflow that fills the metadata in an library when a new document is created?
