Layout containers - adding new fields

I recently found out how to use PowerApps Layout Containers as a way to control responsive layouts within t and it looks great. However, all the tutorials I've followed only show how to add new controls and fields to a container, and I can't figure out how to add current fields that were already there on the form to the container. I presume this is possible?
