Images in Power Apps Rich Text Editor

We had the same issue in one of our environments three weeks ago. The image was displayed in the preview of the RTE field but disappeared once the upload dialog was closed.
We opened a case with Microsoft. The issue was resolved by the time a technician was available to look at the issue in detail. Technician told me Microsoft is making changes to the RTE field and that could be the reason for the issue.
To be clear, no one at Microsoft nor on our side did anything. An update probably broke the RTE field and another one fixed it about 2 weeks later.
