How to set name of the author in 'modified by' after blog is approved by an approver
we are using a blog approval flow in our sharepoint site. So whenever the blog is approved, the modified by column is changed to the approver's name. how can we change it to be the author's name itself?
- Hi, How are you using the approval flow? whether it is a out-of-box approval or custom? because usually the task item is modified by the approver and not the actual item. If you are modifying the actual item based on the approver user context, there is no way to update the 'Modified By' field, since it is a sealed column.
