Turning off Email notifications....
Hi there,
we have users that complaine about too much EMails send by the Planner App in teams. For instance, they do receive an email every time someone adds a comment to a task, where they are members. And they claim that this is only since last week or so. They want that to be turned off. But I cannot find where it could be located? Can anyone help.
Thanks a Million

Hi,
1. Log in to Exchange Admin Center
- Go to Exchange Admin Center.
- Log in with your administrator account.
2. Create a rule to block Planner notifications
- Navigate to Mail flow > Rules.
- Click on Add a rule and select Create a new rule.
- Give the rule a name, such as "Block Planner Notifications".
- Under Apply this rule if, select:
- The sender’s address includes, and enter the Planner notification email address (e.g., email address removed for privacy reasons).
- Under Do the following, choose one of the following actions:
- Delete the message to completely prevent users from receiving the emails.
- Redirect the message to a specific email address, such as a shared mailbox for monitoring.
3. Save the rule
- Once you’ve configured the rule, click Save.
Result
The rule will now take effect, and emails from Planner (or the specified sender) will no longer be delivered to users.
Please let me know if the issue is resolved!
