truncated PDF file names

The new update has truncated the file names. If I am using this tool to create multiple versions of document and rename them with different version numbers (_V1 or _V2, etc.), I now can't tell which is which - nor can my users when they need to review them unless they you CAREFULLY point the mouse over - if you go too low, you get the web address of where the file is stored. I don't use the mobile app but I'm wondering if the issue is there as well. How can the mobile users tell which is which? How exactly does this help workflow?
