Did this ever get resolved.  We just experienced it.  A massive amount of work is now missing.

    i have the same issue!! when i open planner in Google chrome, it seems to work. but not in edge!!! hope this works for you. let me know. why wont his work with Microsoft own recommended browser! not very reassuring!!

      In the meantime, you can try Office 365 groups and security and compliance centre as per posts above.
