Show Checklist on Card in Premium Plans
Dear Microsoft Planner Team,
I’d like to share feedback regarding a key functionality that was available in the traditional Planner but is currently missing in Planner Premium: the ability to display checklist items directly on the task card using the “Show on card” option.
This feature was essential for visual task management, especially for teams using agile or checklist-driven workflows. The removal of this option in Planner Premium has significantly impacted our ability to quickly monitor progress without opening each task individually.
While I understand the goal of a cleaner and more modular interface, I believe this could be achieved without removing existing functionality. A simple toggle — allowing users to choose whether or not to show checklist items on the card — would preserve flexibility and accommodate different management styles.
Planner Premium introduces powerful features like subtasks, custom fields, and timeline views, but removing basic visual tools like checklist visibility on cards feels like a step backward for usability.
Please consider reintroducing this option to support teams that rely on visual tracking and quick status updates.
Thank you for your continued improvements to Planner.
Best regards
