Selected user account does not exist in tenant? yet i can access other MS apps

Hi there,
hoping someone can help...
I use planner and for some reason it has just asked me to sign in to my account and gives the following error: Selected user account does not exist in tenant

I can access all other Microsoft apps though....

any help would be appreciated
