Revert to old Planner?
So it looks like MS is doing a cash grab. What was once a feature in Planner to be able to manage multiple projects without having to go with a heavy handed Project Management Software, now it looks like you will have to purchase Plan 3 or 5 Manage multiple plans effortlessly with the new Portfolios feature in Microsoft Planner | Microsoft Community Hub.
Dear Microsoft: all you have to do is look through your forums and other forums like Reddit. You took a fantastic product that was helpful and screwed your customer base. You used to be able to send your Planner tasks to Outlook to show up in your calendar...amazing. You used to see all your tasks across all your "Plans" at once and filter them. And what did you do? Some poor schlep was told to make some ridiculously arbitrary changes and overnight screwed millions of people. Planner was actually moving in the direction of being an integrating program between self-task management (individual tasks), collaboration (Teams), communication (Outlook). It was edging into the actual seamless territory and then you had to go an screw it all up. It is absolutely useless now. The amount of work and effort to pour through all the various plans to and organize your day with out seeing a ridiculously overwhelming list of things to do.
Just a suggestion: Instead of taking features away...how about finding out what people actually use, and enhance your product. This is why Notion, Clickup, and others like them are taking your customers away. Just wait until Notion creates a communication integration like email and chat.
