Planner default view
Is there a way to set the default view from 'Group by bucket' to 'Group by Progress' It used to be this way, but now defaults to 'Group by Bucket' which is a bit annoying

Hmm, I guess your actual point is that the Board is default, not the Grid. Within the Board, the Group By setting stays where you leave it.
If the *one click* to go from Board to Grid actually tests your patience and the abilities of your "team", then maybe looking inward is the better route.

It is not the click of the button. It is the fact that there is no way to change the default view. For example, I need the plan to default to Group by "Assigned To" for the plan I am currently using. It seems that every single Microsoft app is missing some functionality that is needed to organize a complex team. (E.g., in Lists, you can change the default view, but you are missing the organizational features available in Planner). It is extremely frustrating, and because of all the added steps to find the pertinent information, the senior members of my team simply refuse to use the software. The fixes are simple. Microsoft needs to do better.
