Planner attachments not seen in ToDo

Hi all - not sure if this is a question better suited for the Microsoft ToDo board or not but, I figured I'd start here...

 

If I create a task in Planner, add an attachment to the task, and then assign it to a team member, that attachment does not show on the same task within ToDo in the assigned team member's 'Assigned To Me' ToDo task.  I do see that the task can be opened in Tasks from Planner and ToDo section in teams and the attachment shows there but, that just seems to be an unnecessary step for users to take.  Am I missing something?  The plan is to have our users 'drive' their day from within ToDo and have PMs primarily use Planner for project management but, this may get somewhat cumbersome for users as we load up a lot of tasks with attachments(which we will often do).  I know MS is pushing towards using Teams for unified task and team management/collab but, we're just not there yet.  Any thoughts from anyone?
