Planner App in Teams Needs Performance Improvements
Here is a feedback item I added to the feedback portal. I thought I might as well post it here as well to see if Microsoft can shed some light on this for the community. Thanks!
The new Planner App in Teams needs a bit of a performance improvement. Here is one example:
Oftentimes, when I click on “My Tasks” in the Planner App, it continuously refreshes for about a minute or two as it syncs tasks from various sources (To Do, Planner, Project for the Web, Follow-Up emails, etc.). This constant refreshing makes it difficult to scroll to a task, as the view keeps resetting until the syncing is complete. Occasionally, this also leads to mistakenly clicking or completing a task. For instance, if I try to click the completion button and the screen refreshes just before I do, it ends up completing the wrong task. Then, I have to identify and undo the incorrect completion. It would be better if the app fetched all items before rendering the view/page.

One year later and the problem persists.

I totally agree about performance since the last update everything is so slow. Also, noticed that it doesn't save everytime you update a task card. I've heard from my peers they are experiencing the same thing.
