Planner and data leakage through notification

Is any company facing challenge of possible data leakage through notifications? As the emails are sent between planner environment at MS, local gateways & EXO? Some advice from higly regulated industries? As far as I know does not allow disable notifications, configure so they dont leave tenant etc?
