New Planner stuck in dark mode and can't change per-plan backgrounds

As of this morning mine is now a black background, and while I don't mind this background color for some things, NOT for Planner. There's no option to change it either. This makes me so mad, I'm beyond sick and tired of the types of changes I'm seeing in M365 across the board that are causing more problems. This is common sense to allow people the ability to change backgrounds, some people may have a harder time seeing what's on the screen. What is going on? This is unacceptable!
